This large style crest was worn by all game officials                              Starting in 2002 this would become the new
from the beginning of the USHL Junior A season.                              USHL crest. The stars represent the original 8
The Small patch was added in 1998 and was worn                                teams that started in 1980. Tier 1 logo was
above the officials nameplate.                                                   worn above  the officials nameplate.

2013-16                                                                 2016-Present

2013-16 Officials will wear the new USHL logo on the front. Nameplates would be replaced by numbers and a slightly larger
(5.5 inches) USHL patch above. USHL stickers on both sides of helmets also.

Starting in the 2016-17 season the League will also introduce a new logo modernizing the logo of the past several seasons. This large
crest (4.5 inches) will be worn on the front and the smaller matching crest on the back below the collar line. Officials will continue to
wear numbers. Two smaller logo stickers will also be worn on the side of their helmets.

In 2018-19 Officials return to the traditional Namrplate.

This would be the original crest  and logo used by the united states hockey league staring the 1979-80 season. This would have been the
first "transition" season for the league as it made the move from Senior professional to junior amateur hockey status. Although at the time,
there is no Canadian team in the league, the USHL has had teams from north of the boarder.

* This crest was worn by all certified USHL officials.  This crest measures approximately 5 inches
         in diameter.
*

*

                   * A small matching crest would be added to officials' jerseys durung the 1998 season. This would
measure approximately 1.5 inches in diameter.
                    * Referee/linesman would start to wear name plates on a regular basis

This crest is a variation of the original crest worn at the start of the USHL Junior season. This crest was worn by USHL officials.
Occasionally this crest style was worn on player jerseys.  It would be worn form 2002-2012

     * Starting in 2002 the Crest design would change with the exit of the league's only Canadian member. The
maple leaf would be removed and replaced with a field of stars.
     * These eight Stars represent the eight original team joining the league for it first officials season as a Junior League.
(Austin, Bloomington, Green Bay, St. Paul, Des Moines, Dubuque, Sioux City & Waterloo)
     * This would be the primary USHL logo until the completion of the 2012 USHL season.

* In 2003 the League would be granted Tier 1 status becoming the first and only such league in the United States.

* In 2003 officials would start to wear this alternate crest above their nameplate.

This style of crest was introduced for the 2013 USHL season. A large version (5.5 inches) of this crest was worn by officials and a
smaller (4 inches) was placed on the back below the collar. The ODP would make the switch from names to numbers on the
 back for officials.

* The league changes to a darker color scheme and a modernized version of
        the past USHL logo.
 * This patch will also be placed on all player jerseys on the right chest location.

* Officials will also wear this same style sticker on both sides of their helmets                   .

*  The USHL announces the redesign of of its new 2016 logo. This is the fifth logo redesigns in the league's
36 year history when in 1980 the league transitioned from a Senior Professional to an armature Junior league
*  This new logo will incorporate elements of logos past; the seven stripes representing the seven USHL original teams,
the proportional star representing the rising fortunes of the league's players, coaches and officials.
*  The overall stars & stripes theme representing the USHL's distinction of being the nation's only Junior A Tier 1 League
